Just back from Milano for a meeting at the Joint Research Center of the EU, managed to visit Brebbia marshes with Alberto Boto, the local parrotbill-man. We saw a group of about 100 birds, both forms mixed (had good views of a few vinous-throated Vinous-throated, but most birds are ashy-throated Vinous-throated...). Made a poor video, you can hear me pishing but also hear the bird calls (different calls - mind the Cormorants too), and see a few grey balls moving within the reeds, which are rapidly moving parrotbill (just trust me). Incredible how fast they move!
