No rain this morning so I decided a short visit to the upper forest limit.
A Griffon flew overhead, while we were building digs in the small river close to the farm. This is the first I observe at La Giettaz, although a few have been around the Aravis chain during the last few summers.
A goldcrest family was wandering around in coniferous with a juvenile Coal Tit.
A complete family of Garden Warbler was around. Here are three shots of the male: eating, singing, and observing the photographer.
On the same site, Blackcap was also singing.
