To end up the winter holidays, I tried to twitch in UK, dipping the northern harrier in Thornham (but a nice Black Brant showed up) while the rubbish at Rainham produced an elusive flying-by SBG and an adult dark-hooded-breasted herring gull - a good candidate for {smithsonianus}...
One of the worst birding spot I ever encountered... what a rubbish dip
