The birding target of my week-end in Normandy was to tackle grey partridges, to obtain a publishable picture for the book. Apparently wild-born families are numerous in the cereal fields (I saw 7 different family groups), and one was more scared of a buzzard than of my car, so got closer for few nice pictures.
Young wood pigeons are also invading the cereal fields, in various moult stages, some nearly ressembling adults.
Friday's target was the Stock Dove in Paris at the museum.
