This adult was caught in Baie de Seine at the end of August. Body moult has started, wit a few rump and head feathers renewed, but this will have to reach Senegal with these worn tail and wing feathers... 2009 was the best year ever for ringing the species in France. Thanks to the development of a special capture methodology, more than 600 have been ringed.
